This book focuses on diffusion-weighted MRI imaging and describes its effectiveness in evaluating lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, and thoracic tumors in the thoracic region, as well as in evaluating chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Diffusion-weighted images of MRI are not only useful for early diagnosis of cerebral infarction, but are also useful for diagnosing malignant tumors in the chest, abdomen, breast, gynecological, and urological regions, and can also diagnose distant metastases, including bone metastases. MRI is very useful for distinguishing benign from malignant, searching for distant metastases, and searching for abscesses. In the whole-body search mode (DWIBS), it is possible to detect lesions in the same way as PET-CT.
We hope that this will also be useful in daily clinical practice.
